Marshfield boys basketball drops finale at Florida Tournament

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Marshfield boys basketball team closed out its trip to Florida with a 61-54 loss to Olentangy Liberty (Ohio) in the third-place game of the KSA Holiday Tournament.

Olentangy Liberty outscored the Tigers 34-25 in the second half to pull out the win.

Landon Lee had 16 points, and Valin Ramberg and Brooks Hinson each scored 12 for Marshfield, which falls to 4-4 this season.

Marshfield will be off until Jan. 10 when it hosts Stevens Point as part of a girls-boys Wisconsin Valley Conference doubleheader at the Marshfield High School Fieldhouse. The girls game begins at 6:30 p.m. with the boys game to follow at approximately 8:15 p.m.
