MARSHFIELD – Columbus Catholic junior Mac Konieczny poured in a career-high 30 points to lead a second-half charge as the Dons downed Owen-Withee 63-50 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division boys basketball game Tuesday at Columbus Catholic High School.

The Dons broke open a tight game that was tied 26-26 at halftime with a 13-point advantage in the second half as they pull into a tie with Owen-Withee and Neillsville for second place in the Cloverbelt East.

Ben Weiland added 18 points for Columbus Catholic (6-6, 3-2 Cloverbelt East).

Jack Wendler led Owen-Withee (7-4, 3-2 Cloverbelt East) with 14 points.

Columbus Catholic will host Greenwood for another conference game on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
