GILMAN – Gilman made 11 3-pointers and outdueled Columbus Catholic 63-60 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball game Tuesday at Gilman High School.
The Dons nearly kept up, making 10 3-pointers, but came up three points short of their third win in a row.
Katelyn Casperson made five of those 3-pointers and scored a career-high 26 points for Columbus Catholic, which drops to 7-6 and 3-4 in the Cloverbelt East. Izzy Holz added 19 points for the Dons.
Claire Drier led a balanced scoring attack with 14 points for Gilman (8-5, 4-3 Cloverbelt East).
The Dons are back in action at home Friday against Spencer.
