MARSHFIELD – Marshfield won all 11 events and defeated Wisconsin Rapids 129-30 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys swimming dual meet Thursday at Marshfield High School.
The Tigers are now 4-2 in WVC duals this season, while Wisconsin Rapids drops to 2-5.
Simon Dagit won the 50-yard freestyle in 23.71 seconds and the 100 butterfly in 58.64 seconds, and was part of the Tigers’ 200 medley relay (1:50.89) and 200 freestyle relay (1:41.15) that were also victorious.
Also picking up individual wins for Marshfield were Kevin Buth in the 200 freestyle (2:06.86), Luke Hilbelink in the 100 freestyle (55.68), Carson Klumb in the 500 freestyle (5:51.67), Zach Kayhart in the 100 backstroke (1:05.23), Joshua Peters in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.49) and Shaun Hunter in diving (219.3 points).
Marshfield will compete at the Sheboygan South Invitational on Saturday.
