Spencer/Columbus Catholic/Granton wrestling wins both matches at Cloverbelt triangular

STANLEY – The Spencer/Columbus Catholic/Granton wrestling team won both matches at a Cloverbelt Conference triangular on Thursday night at Stanley-Boyd High School.

The Rockets defeated Chippewa Falls McDonell/Elk Mound 60-11 and Stanley-Boyd 45-36, and are now 4-2 in the Cloverbelt Conference.

Finishing 2-0 for Spencer/Columbus Catholic/Granton were Kayden Patterson at 113 points, Gavin Andrew at 120, Mason Wolf at 132, Drew Lang at 138, Teddy Meyer at 165, Wyatt Karl at 190, and Jakob Soback at 215.

Spencer/Columbus Catholic/Granton will be in action at the St. Croix Falls Invitational this weekend with the girls wrestling on Friday and the boys on Saturday.
