SPENCER – Loyal held Spencer to 10 points in the second half and was able to pull away for a 47-26 win in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball game Thursday at Spencer High School.
Loyal held a five-point lead at halftime before finishing on a 26-10 run.
Olivia Nikolai led a balanced scoring attack with 16 points for the Greyhounds (7-7, 5-5 Cloverbelt East).
Spencer, playing without leading scorer Autumn Davis, was led by Alexa Weber, who had eight points. The Rockets fall to 7-9 overall and 2-8 in conference play.
Spencer’s next game is Tuesday at Colby.
