MARSHFIELD – D.C. Everest goalie Griffen Bunnell saved all 31 shots he saw as the Evergreens blanked Marshfield 5-0 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys hockey game Thursday at the Marshfield Area Ice Arena.

Adam McKaig scored twice and had two assists for the Evergreens, who improve to 14-5 overall and 6-2 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.

Xavier May, Hayden Johnson and Thomas Passineau added goals for D.C. Everest.

Marshfield goalie Rahul Dissanayake had 20 saves in the loss. The Tigers fall to 7-12 and 0-7 in WVC play.

Marshfield will be back in action Thursday, Jan. 30, at Wisconsin Rapids.
