AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale girls basketball team extended its winning streak to nine with a 62-27 rout of Rib Lake in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday night at Auburndale High School.
The Eagles rolled out to a 41-15 lead by halftime and cruised to the win as they held Rib Lake (8-7, 5-5 Marawood North) to just nine made field goals.
Myah Katzenberger scored 13 points, Rose Hasenohrl had three 3-pointers and 11 points, and Lily Bellanti finished with 10 points for Auburndale (14-2, 9-2 Marawood South).
Auburndale will host Stevens Point Pacelli (13-2), the No. 2-ranked team in the Wissports.net Division 5 state coaches poll, for a nonconference matchup Monday at 7:15 p.m.
