Marshfield girls basketball tops Wisconsin Rapids for fourth-straight victory

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – All five Marshfield starters scored in double figures as the Tigers pushed past Wisconsin Rapids 70-61 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference girls basketball game Friday night at Lincoln High School.

Zaida Kolbeck scored a team-high 20 points, McKenzie Holm added 14 points and eight rebounds, and Hailey Klumb chipped in 13 points for Marshfield (8-8, 6-1 Wisconsin Valley Conference).

Emma Ridgway had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Kylie Laufenberg also had 10 points in the win for Marshfield.

Gabby Neilitz hit for a game-high 21 points for Wisconsin Rapids (5-8, 3-4 Wisconsin Valley Conference).

Marshfield’s next game is Tuesday at D.C. Everest.
