Marshfield boys basketball grabs road win at Wisconsin Rapids

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Marshfield junior Chris Pohl had 21 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Tigers in a 69-53 win over Wisconsin Rapids in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys basketball game Friday night at Lincoln High School.

Pohl was 4-for-6 from 3-point range and Brooks Hinson went 3-for-5 as he scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Tigers (9-5, 6-0 Wisconsin Valley Conference).

Sean Roenius led Wisconsin Rapids (0-13, 0-6 WVC) with 17 points.

Marshfield will be back in action Tuesday at home against D.C. Everest.
