MARSHFIELD – The Columbus Catholic boys basketball team extended its winning streak to four with a 62-57 win over Three Lakes in a nonconference matchup Saturday night at Columbus Catholic High School.
Mac Konieczny poured in 23 points and Ben Weiland added 21 for the Dons, who are now 9-6 this season.
Columbus Catholic led 38-26 at halftime before Three Lakes tried to mount a comeback, outscoring the Dons by seven points in the second half, but it was not enough.
Easton Lurvey led Three Lakes (5-8) with 19 points.
Columbus Catholic will play a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game at Neillsville on Thursday in a matchup of two of the four teams that are currently tied for first place in the conference standings.
