MARSHFIELD – The Columbus Catholic girls basketball team held Three Lakes to 23 percent shooting and cruised to a 49-37 nonconference win over Three Lakes/Phelps on Saturday at Columbus Catholic High School.

The Dons rolled out to a 28-8 lead by halftime and were able to hold on for a double-digit win, improving to 9-7 this season.

Gracie Wilczek and Izzy Holz each scored 13 points, and Katelyn Casperson chipped in 10 for the Dons, who went 6-for-12 from 3-point range in the victory.

Kailyn Fogerty had 10 points and nine rebounds to top Three Lakes/Phelps (4-9).

Columbus Catholic travels to Owen-Withee for a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game on Tuesday.
