Kolbeck hits for career-high as Marshfield girls basketball wins at D.C. Everest

WESTON – Marshfield senior Zaida Kolbeck scored a career-high 24 points to lead the Tigers to a 51-33 win over D.C. Everest in Wisconsin Valley Conference girls basketball action Tuesday at D.C. Everest High School.

Kolbeck knocked down four 3-pointers and made all four of her free throw attempts for the Tigers, who won their fifth-straight game to improve to 9-8 overall and 7-1 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.

Hailey Klumb added 16 points for Marshfield.

Kirsten Hall topped D.C. Everest (6-10, 3-4 Wisconsin Valley Conference) with 19 points.

Marshfield plays at Wausau East on Friday.
