SPENCER – The Spencer/Columbus Catholic/Granton wrestling team wrapped up its Cloverbelt Conference dual season with a split of two matches at Spencer High School on Thursday night.
SCCG defeated Bloomer/Colfax 42-37 before suffering a 43-34 loss to Eau Claire Regis/Altoona to finish the Cloverbelt dual season with a 5-3 record.
Rockets freshman Aiden Lendved clinched the win over Bloomer/Colfax, earning a pin in 1:33 in the final match at 285 pounds.
Mason Wolf (132) and Teddy Meyer (165) earned pins in both of their matches for the Rockets.
Spencer/Columbus Catholic/Granton will host the Cloverbelt Conference Tournament at Spencer High School on Saturday, Feb. 8.
