LOYAL – Daisy Yoder scored 16 points and grabbed six rebounds to help lead the Stratford girls basketball team to a 59-24 nonconference win over Loyal on Tuesday at Loyal High School.
The Tigers shot 52 percent from the field (27-for-52) as Yoder made 5 of 9 shots and went 5-for-5 at the free throw line in the win.
Emily Zuelke added 11 points and Kayla Casperson chipped in nine for Stratford (14-4).
Autumn Zvolena had a team-high 11 points for Loyal (7-10).
Stratford will play a Marawood Conference South Division game at Marathon on Thursday.
