COLBY – Colby outscored Spencer by double digits in both halves and cruised to a 73-50 win in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division boys basketball game Tuesday night at Colby High School.
Luke Hannula had 22 points and 12 rebounds to pace Colby (7-8, 5-4 Clovebelt East).
Sam Bezlyk had 18 points, and Mathers McHone scored 15 points and pulled down nine rebounds for Spencder (11-6, 5-4 Cloverbelt East).
Spencer and Colby are now in a tie with Neillsville for fourth place in the conference standings, one game behind Columbus Catholic and Loyal, and two in back of Owen-Withee with five Cloverbelt East contests remaining.
Spencer will play at first-place Owen-Withee on Friday.
