PRENTICE – The Auburndale girls basketball team ended its mini two-game losing streak with a 39-29 victory over Prentice in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday at Prentice High School.
The Eagles trailed by two at halftime before holding Prentice to just 10 points in the second half to pull away.
Oriah Harris had 11 points for Auburndale, which is now 17-4 overall and 11-3 in the Marawood South.
Kali Heikkinen led all scorers with 17 points for Prentice (9-11, 6-7 Marawood North).
Auburndale will play a Marawood South game at Edgar on Tuesday.
