AUBURNDALE – Make it 13 in a row for the Auburndale boys basketball team extended its winning streak with a 60-34 rout of Loyal in a nonconference game Monday at Auburndale High School.
The Eagles (18-1) have won the last six games by double digits.
Josh Lundgren and Peyton Weinfurter each scored 15 points, and Thomas Aue added 12 for Auburndale, which shot a sizzling 60 percent from the field, making 25 of 42 field goal attempts and went 6-for-13 from 3-point range.
Cain Toufar led Loyal (14-6) with 12 points.
Auburndale hosts Athens for a Marawood Conference crossover game on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
