EDGAR – The Auburndale girls basketball raced out to a 25-point halftime lead and cruised past Edgar 58-35 in a Marawood Conference South Division contest Tuesday night at Edgar High School.

The Eagles led 38-13 after a dominating first half and were able to finish off the road win, improving to 17-4 overall and 11-3 in the Marawood South.

Myah Katzenberger scored 13 points and Rose Hasenohrl added 11 for Auburndale.

Brandi Halvorsen topped Edgar (7-15, 3-11 Marawood South) with 10 points.

Auburndale’s next game is Friday at home against Athens for a Marawood Conference crossover game.
