Stratford girls basketball hammers Rib Lake

STRATFORD – The Stratford girls basketball doubled up Rib Lake by halftime and cruised to a 45-28 win in a Marawood Conference crossover Thursday at Stratford High School.

The Tigers, playing their regular-season home finale, led 29-14 at halftime and were able to hold on for the double-digit win.

Carly Pankratz had three 3-pointers and a team-high 15 points, and Kayla Casperson added 12 points for Stratford (18-4, 13-2 Marawood South), winners of eight in a row.

Kianna Dallmann led Rib Lake (11-9, 8-6 Marawood North) with nine points.

Stratford will complete its regular season next week with games at Colby on Tuesday and Wisconsin Rapids Assumption on Thursday.
