Marshfield gymnastics finishes second at home triangular

MARSHFIELD – Alyvia Dietsche won three events and the all-around title as the Marshfield gymnastics team placed second at a home Great Northern Conference triangular Thursday at Marshfield High School.

Stevens Point won the team title with a combined score of 135.2, with Marshfield second at 133.4 and Wisconsin Rapids third at 128.6.

Dietsche won the vault (9.0) and uneven bars (9.025), tied for first in the floor exercise (9.2) and took second in the balance beam (9.15) to finish with a meet-best all-around score of 36.375 for the Tigers.

Isabella Ryner and Kiki Manicke tied for third in the vault (8.35) as well for Marshfield.

Marshfield will compete at the Great Northern Conference Meet on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Stevens Point.
