STRATFORD – The Stratford boys basketball team broke open a tight game with a big second half and took down Rib Lake 74-64 in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday night at Stratford High School.
The game was tied 29-29 at halftime before Stratford blew the game open with a 45-point second half on its way to its seventh-straight win.
Riley Spindler nailed six 3-pointers and finished with a team-high 25 points for the Tigers, who are now 18-2 overall and 11-2 in the Marawood South.
Drew Bruesewitz hit another three 3s and added 18 points, and Kaden Foster chipped in 16 for Stratford.
Rib Lake, which has already wrapped up the Marawood North title, falls to 14-6 overall and 10-3 in conference play.
Stratford will host Weyauwega-Fremont for a nonconference game on Tuesday, the first of three-straight home games.
