CHIPPEWA FALLS – The Marshfield boys basketball team extended its winning streak to six with a 62-53 nonconference win over Chippewa Falls on Saturday night at Chippewa Falls High School.
Brooks Hinson scored 19 points, and Chris Pohl had a big double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds to pace the Tigers, who are now 14-5 this season. Marshfield has won 10 of its last 11 games since the start of the new calendar year.
Grant Von Haden topped Chippewa Falls (0-20) with 17 points.
Marshfield’s next game is Tuesday at Wausau West.
