The brackets for the upcoming WIAA state girls basketball playoffs were released on Sunday.
Play begins with regional quarterfinals across five divisions on Tuesday, Feb. 25. Regional semifinals will be played Friday, Feb. 28, with regional finals on Saturday, March 1.
Sectionals will be held Thursday, March 6, and Saturday, March 8, with the 20 sectional champions moving on to the 2025 WIAA State Girls Basketball Tournament, which will be held at the Resch Center in Green Bay on March 13-15.
In Division 1, Marshfield is the No. 8 seed in Sectional 1 and will host a regional semifinal against No. 9 Holmen on Feb. 28.
Auburndale is the No. 3 seed in the top half of the Division 4 Sectional 2 bracket and will also be home for a regional semifinal on Feb. 28, taking on the winner of the quarterfinal matchup between No. 11 Marion/Tigerton and No. 6 Crivitz.
Stratford and Spencer are in the same Division 4 Sectional 3 bracket. In the top half, Neillsville is the No. 1 seed and earned a first-round bye. The Warriors will host a regional semifinal Feb. 28 against the winner of No. 9 Spencer and No. 8 Necedah, which will be played at Necedah on Feb. 25.
Stratford is the No. 4 seed in the same bracket and will be at home against the winner of the No. 5 Onalaska Luther-No. 12 Osseo-Fairchild quarterfinal on Feb. 28.
Marshfield Columbus Catholic will be playing at home in the Division 5 Sectional 2 regional quarterfinals on Feb. 25. The No. 6 seeded Dons will host No. 11 Tri-County.
