GREENWOOD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team has climbed right back in the mix for a Cloverbelt Conference East Division title with a dominating 69-18 win over Greenwood on Tuesday at Greenwood High School.
Mac Konieczny had a game-high 20 points and Carter Sommer added 10 for the Dons, who saw 11 different players score in the win.
Columbus Catholic is now 14-7 overall and 9-3 in the Cloverbelt East, just one-half game behind first-place Owen-Withee, which lost to Loyal 50-47 on Tuesday night.
Owen-Withee finishes its Cloverbelt East season at Colby on Friday, while Columbus Catholic hosts Gilman (2-10 Cloverbelt East) on Friday and plays at Gilman on Monday in its conference finale.
