COLBY – The Stratford girls basketball team won its ninth-straight game with a 62-19 rout of Colby in a nonconference game Tuesday night at Colby High School.
MyKayla Stueber made four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 16 points, and Tria Tubbs added 10 points and seven rebounds for the Tigers, who are now 19-4 this season.
Stratford plowed out to a 37-13 lead by halftime and held Colby (4-17) to just six points in the second half to cruise to the victory.
Stratford will wrap up its regular-season schedule at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption on Thursday. The Tigers will host a WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal on Feb. 28 against the winner of a quarterfinal matchup between Onalaska Luther and Osseo-Fairchild.
