STEVENS POINT – Lily Cichy scored twice to lead the Wisconsin Valley Union girls hockey team to a 4-2 win over Northland Pines in a WIAA regional final Thursday at Ice Hawks Arena.
Jenna Jones and Kendall Baneck scored in the first period, and Cichy added goals in the second and third periods to lift Wisconsin Valley (11-13) to the victory.
Wisconsin Valley Union will play at Greenheck Ice Arena at D.C. Everest High School against No. 1 seed Central Wisconsin Storm on Tuesday in a sectional semifinal.
