MARSHFIELD – The Columbus Catholic boys basketball team dominated from start to finish in winning its regular-season home finale 72-30 over Gilman on Friday night.

The Dons improve to 15-7 and 10-3 in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division, and can grab a share of the conference championship with a win at Gilman on Monday.

Mac Konieczny had 17 points, Ben Weiland scored 14 and Jack Kohlbeck 10 to lead the way for the Dons, who raced out to a 44-9 lead by halftime.

Beau Pockat led Gilman (5-16, 2-11 Cloverbelt East) with 17 points.
