Auburndale girls basketball hits eight 3s, downs Crivitz in WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal

AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale girls basketball team hit a season-high in scoring and rolled to a 73-54 victory over Crivitz in a WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal on Friday at Auburndale High School.

The No. 3 seeded Eagles (21-4), eclipsed the 70-point mark for just the second time this year and moves on to a D-4 regional final at No. 2 Bonduel (20-5) on Saturday at 7 p.m. Auburndale defeated Bonduel in a nonconference matchup back on Jan. 2, 35-27.

Auburndale finished with eight 3-pointers, including four from Rose Hasenohrl and three by Kylie Anderson, who finished with 17 and 18 points, respectively in the victory.

Oriah Harris and Myah Katzenberger each chipped in 12 for the Eagles.

Kiya Brand led all scorers with 26 points for Crivitz (16-9) as she made 12 of 16 free throws in the loss.
