Bonduel surges in second half to defeat Auburndale in WIAA Division 4 girls basketball regional final

BONDUEL – Bonduel dominated the second half, turning a tight game into a 55-36 victory over Auburndale in a WIAA Division 4 girls basketball regional final Saturday night at Bonduel High School.

The No. 2 seed Bonduel (21-5) moves on to a Division 4 sectional semifinal against No. 1 seed Neenah St. Mary Catholic on Thursday at Brillion High School. The Eagles finish the season with a 21-5 record.

The Bears led 27-23 after a tightly-contested first half before holding Auburndale to just 13 points in the second half to win going away.

Myah Katzenberger had 11 points to lead Auburndale.
