STEVENS POINT – Auburndale and Stratford competed at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Girls Indoor Track & Field Invite on Friday.
Stratford and Auburndale each had three top-five finishes at the annual event that had 27 teams taking part.
Stratford’s Brianna Sherden took fourth in the 60 meters in 7.99 seconds, Kayla Casperson placed fifth in the 1,600 meters in 5:40.47 and the Tigers’ 800-meter relay team also finished fifth in 1:54.83.
Auburndale’s 1,600-meter relay team of Rose Hasenohrl, Gracie Hasenohrl, Luise Meyer and Alana Steines finished third in 4:21.50, the 3,200 relay team of the Hasenohrl sisters, Meyer and Alivia Wolf was fifth in 10:31.85, and Marti Anderson took sixth in the 400 in 1:05.46 to lead the way for the Eagles.
Both teams will compete at the Marshfield Indoor Invitational on Thursday.
