Marshfield senior point guard Zaida Kolbeck was a unanimous first-team selection and one of four Tigers to earn honors on the 2024-25 All-Wisconsin Valley Conference Girls Basketball Team, which was voted on by the seven conference coaches following the season.
Kolbeck, a second-team all-conference pick last year and an honorable mention selection in her freshman and sophomore seasons, averaged 17.2 points per game for the Tigers, who finished the season at 14-12 overall and 9-2 in the WVC.
Kolbeck was joined on the first team by unanimous selections Jada Seubert and Lindsey Weiler of Stevens Point, and Wisconsin Rapids’ Gabby Neilitz and Wausau West’s Ayla Christensen.
Seubert, a sophomore, was named the Wisconsin Valley Conference Player of the Year for the second year in a row after averaging 21.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 4.3 steals per game, while making 59 3-pointers for undefeated WVC champion Stevens Point.
Weiler averaged 12.4 points and 9.5 rebounds per contest for the Panthers.
Marshfield junior Hailey Klumb and senior McKenzie Holm were among the five second-team picks, and senior Emma Ridgway was an honorable mention selection.
Klumb averaged 10.6 points per game and tied for the team-lead in rebounding with Ridgway at 7 per contest. Holm scored 9.8 points per game while making 17 3-pointers in conference action.
Stevens Point’s Janel McCarville was named Coach of the Year.
