Wisconsin Rapids Assumption, the conference and WIAA Division 5 state champion, had four of the five first-team selections on the 2024-25 All-Marawood Conference South Division Girls Basketball Team, as voted on by the six conference coaches following the season.
Assumption seniors Sarah Shaw, Addi Vollert and Anna Schooley, and junior Jordyn Jaglinski, joined Auburndale sophomore Lily Bellanti as first-team picks.
Shaw was named Marawood South Player of the Year after averaging 12 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.9 steals per game for the Royals. She also was named to the conference’s All-Defensive Team.
Jaglinski led the Royals in scoring at 15.1 points per game, while shooting 45 percent from 3-point range, knocking down 88 in all.
Schooley averaged 13.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, while Vollert kicked in 8.9 points and 4.5 assists per game for Assumption.
Bellanti led Auburndale in scoring at 8.6 points per game before suffering a season-ending injury in late January.
Auburndale sophomore Myah Katzenberger, and Stratford sophomore Carly Pankratz and junior Tria Tubbs were second-team selections.
Katzenberger averaged 8.2 points and 4.2 rebounds per game for Auburndale, which finished tied for second place with Stratford in the Marawood South standings.
Pankratz topped Stratford in scoring at 12.3 points per game while knocking down 35 3-pointers and shooting 81.4 percent from the free throw line (57-for-70). Tubbs averaged 9.2 points and a team-best 7.6 rebounds per game for the Tigers.
Each team had two honorable mention choices, with Auburndale sophomores Oriah Harris and Rose Hasenohrl, and Stratford seniors Kayla Casperson and Daisy Yoder picking up the honors.
Auburndale’s Gracie Hasenohrl and Stratford’s Laney Pankratz were among those chosen to the All-Defensive Team.
