Hudson sweeps twinbill over Marshfield baseball

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield baseball team dropped both ends of a doubleheader, falling to Hudson 12-2 and 2-1 on Saturday at Jack Hackman Field.

Hudson scored five times in the opening inning of Game 1 and added runs in each inning after, winning after five due to the 10-run rule.

Marshfield had four hits, including an RBI double from Chase Robinson.

The Tigers managed only four hits in the second game as well. Their only run came on a sacrifice fly by Easton Ledden to score Conner Vandeberg.

Marshfield will host Medford at Safford Field on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
