STRATFORD – Brady Berg tossed a five-inning two-hit shutout as the Stratford baseball team won its fourth game in a row, blanking Gilman 10-0 in a nonconference game Thursday at the Tiger Stadium Baseball Field.
Berg struck out five and did not walk a batter, working around two singles to pitch the complete-game shutout.
The Tigers (5-1) scored three times in the second, third and fifth innings, ending the game via the 10-run rule.
Jaeger Ormond hit a home run and drove in two, and Riley Spindler had three hits for Stratford, which finished with 10 overall.
Stratford will play at home against Marathon in Marawood Conference South Division action Tuesday starting at 4:45 p.m.
