MARSHFIELD – Stevens Point scored in each of the first four innings and handed the Marshfield softball team its fifth-straight loss, defeating the Tigers 6-1 on Thursday at Madison Field.
Reanna Canfield struck out seven and scattered six singles to earn the win for Stevens Point (11-2, 4-1 Wisconsin Valley Conference).
Marshfield scored its only run in the sixth inning when Rhyan Costa scored on a double steal.
Marshfield (7-7, 1-4 WVC) will be back in action Tuesday at home against Wausau East.
