Marshfield boys tennis defeats Stevens Point

MARSHFIELD – Marshfield won three of the four singles matches and defeated Stevens Point 4-3 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys tennis dual Thursday at the Boson Tennis Complex.

Antonio Koehn (No. 2 singles) and Beckett Hall (No. 3) won in straight sets, and Levi Janssen earned a three-set tiebreaker win at No. 4 singles for the Tigers (2-0 WVC).

Marshfield’s No. 2 doubles team of Justin Franks and Parker Kundinger also won in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (2), 2-6, 10-7.

Marshfield’s next meet is Thursday, May 1, at Wausau West.
