MOSINEE – The Stratford softball team won its third game in a row, defeating Bonduel 6-2 in a nonconference game Friday at Mosinee High School.
The game was moved to Mosinee due to wet conditions at Stratford’s Hilgemann Field.
Stratford scored two runs in the second, fourth and sixth innings to pull away, finishing with 10 hits.
Leadoff hitter Carly Pankratz had a single, two doubles and three runs scored, and Laney Pankratz finished with three hits and four RBI in the victory for the Tigers (9-4).
Laney Pankratz also picked up the pitching win, giving up six hits and five walks while striking out six.
Stratford hosts Auburndale in a big Marawood Conference South Division matchup on Tuesday at 4:45 p.m. at Hilgemann Field.
