Auburndale softball smacks three homers, rolls past Chequamegon

PARK FALLS – The Auburndale softball team had six extra base hits, including three home runs, and rolled past Chequamegon 17-4 in a nonconference game Friday at Chequamegon High School.

Breleigh Grimm, Daelynn Blomberg and Chesney Nagel each had home runs to pace Auburndale, which improves to 8-3 this season.

Morgan Griesbach threw four shutout innings to earn the win, striking out four.

Myah Katzenberger added three hits, including two doubles, and drove in a pair of runs for Auburndale.

Auburndale will play a nonconference game at Marshfield Columbus Catholic on Monday.
