MARSHFIELD – Mosinee used a four-run fifth inning to pull away and defeat Marshfield 9-5 in a nonconference baseball game Saturday at Safford Field.
The Tigers led 4-3 after a two-run single by Owen Griesback in the second inning, but Mosinee scored single runs in the third and fourth before the huge fifth inning rally.
Treve Stoffel and Andrew Lingl each had two RBI for the Indians (5-2).
Jakob Sadowska and Griesbach both had two hits for the Tigers, who fall to 3-6.
Marshfield will play at Merrill on Tuesday.
