COLBY – Sarah Gamillo had 16 points and Mollie Duginski added 14 to lead the Colby girls basketball team to a 46-32 win over Marshfield Columbus Catholic on Tuesday night in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game at Colby High School.
The Dons (5-10, 4-8 Cloverbelt East) were done in by a 13-5 run by Colby in the third quarter that opened up a double-digit lead for the Hornets (9-6, 8-3 Cloverbelt East).
Columbus shot just 24 percent (11 of 54) from the field and missed four of its eight free-throw attempts in the loss.
Elizabeth Manlick led the Dons with seven points.
Columbus hosts Spencer on Friday.
