Neillsville improves to 19-0, dominates Columbus Catholic girls basketball

MARSHFIELD – Neillsville outscored Marshfield Columbus Catholic 10-1 in the first quarter and held the Dons to single digits in all four quarters during a 56-23 win Tuesday night in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball game at Columbus Catholic High School.

Jenny Lindner scored 11 of her game-high 16 points in a 20-9 second-quarter run for the Warriors, who improve to 19-0 and 14-0 in the Cloverbelt East. Columbus falls to 5-12 and 4-10 in the conference.

Columbus was held to just 10 field goals and no more than four in any quarter. Angie Seubert scored six points to lead the Dons.

Columbus plays at Greenwood on Thursday.
