PORT EDWARDS – Port Edwards scored seven runs in the first three innings and cruised to a 10-2 over Marshfield Columbus Catholic in a WIAA Division 4 baseball regional quarterfinal Friday.
Columbus scored single runs in the fifth and sixth innings, but couldn’t muster any more against Port Edwards’ pitcher Troy Kutella, who scattered four hits to earn the win.
The Dons finish their season with a 4-15 record.
Port Edwards moves on to a Division 4 regional semifinal Tuesday at Greenwood.
