MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team won its fourth straight game and maintained its one-game lead over Spencer in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division standings with a 52-37 come-from-behind win over Owen-Withee on Friday night at Columbus Catholic High School.
The Dons (15-1, 12-1 Cloverbelt East) trailed 27-23 at halftime before dominating the Blackhawks in the second half, outscoring them 29-10.
Columbus remains on top of the Cloverbelt East standings, one game ahead of Spencer after the Rockets beat Greenwood 52-44 on Friday.
Columbus plays a pair of nonconference games next week – at Nekoosa on Monday and at Rib Lake on Thursday before returning to Cloverbelt action on Feb. 16 at home against Granton.
