MARSHFIELD – The 38th Annual Columbus Cross Country Invitational will be held Saturday at Wildwood Park.
Nearly 1,000 runners from 30 schools throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota will compete in five races at the meet.
The middle school boys and girls race will kick off the event at 9 a.m., followed by the JV boys at 9:30 a.m., the girls varsity race at 10 a.m., the boys varsity at 10:30 a.m. and the JV girls at 11 a.m. An open 2-mile run for coaches, alumni and spectators will take place at 11:30 a.m., followed by an awards ceremony at noon.
Marshfield will be among the local teams competing in the event.
There is no admission charge for spectators.
