MARSHFIELD – Marshfield won nine of the 11 events to edge Medford 96-72 in a girls swimming meet Tuesday at Marshfield High School.
Megan Martoz won a pair of individual events – the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle – and was part of the winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams for the Tigers.
Laura Josephson also won a pair of individual events for Marshfield, taking first in the 500 freestyle and the 100 backstroke, and was part of the 400 freestyle relay team to place first.
Paige Hawley won the 100 butterfly and Emma Holbrook won the 100 backstroke, and the two were part of both winning relay teams for Marshfield.
Marshfield will compete at the Chippewa Falls Invitational on Saturday.
