MENASHA – The Auburndale volleyball team went 2-3 and finished fifth out of eight teams at the Menasha Invitational on Saturday.
Auburndale defeated Oshkosh North 2-1 and Winneconnie 2-0, and lost to Menasha 2-1, Kenosha Bradford 2-1, and Berlin 2-0.
Nicole Nikolay had 40 kills and Kari Willfahrt had 31 to lead the Apaches’ offense.
Setter Kendra Kundinger had 98 assists and the Auburndale defense was balanced, with Kundinger totaling 35 digs, Nikolay 34, and Willfahrt and Camille Swart had 31 each.
The Apaches return to Marawood Conference South Division play Tuesday at Pittsville.
