WESTON – The Marshfield volleyball team went on the road and took care of business, although it wasn’t each.
The Tigers defeated D.C. Everest 32-30, 25-14, 27-25, to improve to 5-2 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference and stay in the hunt for a title.
Tiffany Stargardt had 15 kills, Mary Wolff had 17 assists and Chelsea Akin had four service aces to lead the Marshfield offense.
Defensively, Stargardt had 21 digs and Darian Molter had 19 for the Tigers.
Marshfield plays at the Neenah Invitational on Saturday and hosts Chippewa Falls in a nonconference match Tuesday.
