AUBURNDALE – Nicole Nikolay and Kelly Brokish each had 11 kills and Kendra Kundinger had 40 assists to lift the Auburndale volleyball team to a three-game sweep of Wisconsin Rapids Assumption on Tuesday night in a Marawood Conference South Division matchup at Auburndale High School.
The Apaches won 25-14, 25-21, 28-26, to improve to 4-1 in the conference. Assumption falls to 1-4.
Defensively, Kari Willfahrt led four Auburndale players in double digits for digs with 16. Nikolay added 14, Kundinger had 11 and Hannah Castellano had 10.
Auburndale will play at the Tomahawk Invitational and closes out its Marawood South season next Tuesday at Marathon.
