MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield volleyball team whipped Wausau West 3-0 in its final home match of the regular season Thursday night at Marshfield High School.
The Tigers rolled 25-8, 25-13, 25-11, to improve to 6-2 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference. Marshfield will play at the final of the two WVC tournaments on Saturday at Stevens Point Area Senior High, then will wrap up its conference slate Tuesday at Wausau East.
Tiffany Stargardt again led the charge for the Tigers, leading the team with 11 kills and 13 digs. Mary Wolff had 19 assists and Miranda Forrest topped Marshfield with three service aces.
Wausau West falls to 3-5 in the WVC.
